About Rincon Point

The famous surf break at Rincon Point has been celebrated in Beach Boys songs and to this day, surfers of every age hang ten at Rincon Point. The small creek which divides the gated residential community situated at Rincon Point is the border between Ventura County and Santa Barbara County. The Ventura County side, where the famed surf break is located, is a short rocky beach, while the beach on the Santa Barbara side is long and sandy.

The gated enclave (which is guarded for special events) is spectacularly landscaped and has a wonderful beach community feeling. Public beach access is easy, and there are public parking lots on either side of the entry gates to accommodate beachgoers.

There are 64 single family homes in Rincon Point, of which 34 are beachfront, and there are eight townhouses, of which two are beachfront. Rincon Point homeowners voluntarily participate in a homeowners association, the dues of which ($800/year) pay for gate and road maintenance and the occasional weekend guard.
